The Southern Oregon women's cross country team continued to make history, moving up to No. 8 in this week's NAIA Top 25 poll.
The No. 8 national ranking marks the highest in school history. Southern Oregon moved up from No. 11 last week after winning the Oregon State Beaver Classic.
Southern Oregon is one of four Cascade Conference teams in the Top 25 on the women's side. College of Idaho is sixth, followed by SOU at No. 8, Eastern Oregon at No. 17 and Concordia at No. 21.
The SOU men continued to hold down the top spot in the men's Top 25 poll. Southern Oregon received 648 votes and 19 first place votes after also winning the Oregon State Beaver Classic last week. Shawnee State, Wayland Baptist and Malone are still ranked second through fourth this week.
The Raiders are off this week in preparation for the Nov. 6 Cascade Conference Championships in Klamath Falls, Ore.
