Based on the first team victory in recent memory, the Southern Oregon women's cross country team moved up to 11th in this week's NAIA Cross Country Top 25 poll.
The Raiders were ranked 13th in last week's poll and then took the team title at last week's Mike Hodges Invitational to move up to 11th this week.
The SOU men continued to hold down the top spot in the men's poll. The Raiders are ranked No. 1 for the third week in a row and like the women's team, won the team title at the Mike Hodges Invitational. SOU secured 20 of a possible 24 first place votes.
The men's poll features four squads from the Cascade Conference.
SOU will take part in this week's Oregon State Beaver Classic in the final tuneup for the Nov. 6 Cascade Conference Championships in Klamath Falls.
